EV does not disappoint. These things rock! I am using them with a Boss GT10 for guitar and a Roland GR55 guitar synth. I am aware that preferfences will change from sound guy to sound guy, but I think these are brighter, better looking, louder and they got more oomph than the K12's. We use them every weekend and I would say to get a sub to relieve some of the stress on the low end. I was initially very satisfied , but to perform like this in the crunch made me very skeptical about purchasing additional equipment from this manufacturer . I searched for the true RMS on this speaker and couldn't find a true source for the numbers, but there was one review by a customer that stated the output was +/- 480 RMS.
